We are very excited to tell you about an upcoming collaboration between THE DOTMASTER and PRITCH London, the results of which we shall all witness during the Trash’n’Cash exhibition next month.
For his exhibition at Imitate Modern THE DOTMASTER will be decorating three PRITCH London designs with his art. These unique pieces will hence become the dream of any fashion addict or art collector.
At the end of the day who would not want to wear a piece of art?
ABOUT THE SHOW
"TRASH 'n' CASH" is an acute social commentary; an exhibition in which currency, big brands, conscience and identity collide. The homogenisation of society is in stark contrast with the success of individual brands and growing identification with certain celebrities. The 'selfie' - as a celebration of the 'self' - is becoming increasingly less unique, as conformity pays, and designer logos form the new global currency. The juxtaposition of aspirational items, the Tiffany's bag and £50 notes, with rubbish bags and waste, boldly attack this issue.
ABOUT THE DOTMASTER
Possessing a typically British sense of humour with a healthy dose of cynicism, The Dotmaster has gained a reputation for impeccable and daring street stencilling. Featuring in Architectural Digest , ELLE Decor (Paris, Mexico, Russia) and Interior Design (India) for his interior murals, his work has proved universally popular and equally at home in the penthouses of Europe to a trailer at Glastonbury festival. The Dotmaster exhibits internationally, having been invited to take part in Banksy's Waterloo "Cans Festival" and shown in the Oscar-nominated "Exit Through the Gift Shop"
